Community engagement event in Stonehaven

The latest in a series of community engagement events being held by Aberdeenshire Council will take place in Stonehaven on Thursday, June 6.

The event, which will be held in Mackie Academy at 7pm, is aimed at considering Aberdeenshire as a single area and building pride in the places its residents live and work.
Those attending the free sessions will have the opportunity to ask questions and make suggestions before a range of speakers.

Councillor Jim Gifford, Leader of Aberdeenshire Council, said: “Aberdeenshire Council is committed to building an ongoing dialogue with local communities and businesses and I look forward to hearing a range of views, questions and suggestions on the theme of building pride in Aberdeenshire as a place to live and work.”
Anyone unable to attend any of the events can put forward a question or suggestion by emailing or by phoning (01224) 665424 at least three days in advance of the next event.
