Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) is currently at the scene of a fire in a grain dryer at an industrial plant at Drumlithie, Aberdeenshire.
The call was received by operations control at 11.24am today (4 September 2015). Two appliances from Stonehaven, one from North Anderson Drive and a height vehicle and support pump from Central were sent to the scene.
Crews were faced with a small fire in a grain dryer which is 100 feet high. The dryer contains around 80 tonnes of grain.
Crews are using a hose reel jet at ground level and the height vehicle and a hose reel jet as a water tower.
The incident is ongoing and the dryer is in the process of being emptied.
