Laurencekirk resident Doug Petrie raised over £1500 on the West Highland Way one of the country’s toughest walking challenges.
Along with his close friend, Doug they completed the 152km raising money for the Anchor Unit.
The route starts at Milngavie, follows the shores of Loch Lomond and finishes at Gordon Square in Fort William.
Doug told the Leader: “The walk was a fantastic experience and in total I raised £1800 for the Anchor Unit.
“I would like to thank everyone who donated to this worth while cause.”
