Pupils at Dunnottar Primary School in Stonehaven, donated an array of food to the City Church South this week from their Halloween Disco.
The scare Halloween disco was taking food donations which took place last week.
The food was collected by James Duce, City church South Pastor who said: “City church South recognises the importance of practically providing for the poor, the widows, the orphans, the vulnerable and those that may have become marginalised in our community. City Church South seeks to help meet some of those needs through our Storehouse Project providing food, toiletries, clothing and essential household items to people in need in Stonehaven, the shire and occasionally joining with the team based in Aberdeen.
“I have been blown away by the generosity of the Stonehaven community, the Coop on David Street and in particular Dunnottar Primary. What a brilliant idea to use the school event to raise awareness of the struggles that touch our community but also to donate so many storehouse items. Brilliant use of creative thinking that will genuinely help those that are struggling – Thanks again for all your kindness.”
