Former Banchory Academy pupil Ewan Black has just graduated from the prestigious Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and is the joint winner of the Peter O’Toole award.
The prize is a six month contract at The Bristol Vic Theatre and funding for his accommodation during this time.
Ewan attended Banchory Academy, then the Scottish School of Musical Theatre, Knightswood, Glasgow. He graduated in 2012 with a Diploma in Musical Theatre ( Distinction). Ewan then auditioned and was accepted for Bristol Old Vic Theatre School to study a three year BA Hons degree in Professional Acting. Ewan was twice a finalist in the Stephen Sondheim Young Performer of the Year in 2012 and more recently this May. The competition was held in London.
