The countdown has begun for this year’s Stonehaven Feein’ Market which takes place on Saturday June 6, with a packed schedule planned.
Here at the Mearns Leader we are delighted to announce that Deputy Editor Rachel Campbell and Reporter Lee McCann will have the honour of opening the days proceedings at 10am.
We couldn’t be happier to be involved with such a long-running and popular event, which is supported by such a large portion of the community.
This years event promises to once again kick start off the summer with a full programme of music and events in the square and the local Town Hall. Stalls will be full of goods, foods and games to keep everyone happy. Why not join in with the fun and banter by dressing like the stall holders in traditional farming attire?
Stonehaven and District Lions Club are once again organising this event and welcome all near and far to attend.
The Lion’s Club are made up of a group of volunteers who raise money for charitable causes. In addition to attending other events with their ever popular barbeque, they have been organising the Feein’ Market for the last 15 years.
Should anyone wish to support the event in any way please contact the Lions via their Feein Market website at http://www.feeinmarket.org.uk
