The existing Post Office is due to relocate to The Fettery Shoppe with the community looking to make a presentation to them both.

Mearns Community Councillor and Fettercairn resident Andy Hayes said: “We are reaching a moment in history when the existing Post Office in Fettercairn relocates to The Fettery Shoppe.

“The Post Office has been in the same building for many years and has been run by Angela Watson for the last 13 years with Carol Cammack helping latterly.

“The local community would like to thank Angela and Carol for their commitment and hard work over these years. Their helpful and friendly disposition is gratefully appreciated.

The community would like to show its appreciation by making a presentation to them both, details of which will be provided shortly.

“If you would like to make a donation please hand it to Graham Cunningham, Helen Thomson, Amanda Wilson, Douglas Cooper, The Fettery Shoppe or into the Drop in Cafe before July 31.”
