Girl shows big heart with charity walk

A Mackie Academy pupil is going to take part in a sponsored walk to raise money for the Renal Dialysis unit in Stonehaven.

Second year pupil, Eirinn Kemp, has decided to do the walk to raise funds for the unit which is facing a £100000 shortfall.

The Renal Dialysis unit is important to Erinn as her mum suffers from kidney failure.

Twelve-year-old Eirinn is planning to walk, on October 8, up Lochnagar with her step-father David.

She has so far raised an amazing £840 for the charity.
