Kincardine and Mearns Area Committee made decisions on three planning applications at this week’s meeting held at Viewmount on Tuesday.
Two of the applications were delegated grant decisions while the other was refused by local councillors.
The erection of three houses with garages and demolition of redundant sheep pens at Slowgatie, Pitcarry Mill, Inverbervie had a delegated grant decision.
Arbuthnott Community Council had submitted a comment urging the council to reject to application on grounds of the location being of a sensitive nature. A motion to accept the delegated grant decision was proposed by Cllr George Carr, seconded by Cllr Ian Mollison which carried eight votes to three.
The erection of a replacement house and garage at Charleston, Portlethen also received a delegated grant decision.
An application for decking and garden room in Johnshaven was refused by councillors.
The application was also partly retrospective.
A motion to refuse the application was proposed by Cllr Bill Howatson and was seconded by Cllr Jean Dick.
The application did not have amendment proposed and the refusal carried.
