Kirktown Garden Centre raised £1800 for its chosen charity MacMillan Cancer Support at a fashion show at the start of March.

There were 12 models who took to the runway of the transformed restaurant showing off the latest Spring and summer collections.

Kirktown’s Jim Gammie, suitably given the name of Jimmy Bond by the compere for the evening, set the tone for the show, warmly welcoming everyone and explaining what a great cause MacMillan Cancer Support was.

Jennifer Mitchell from MacMillan Cancer Support said: “I would like to extend my personal thanks on behalf of everyone at Macmillan to Kirktown Garden Centre for organising their inaugural fashion show in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

“Together with the local Stonehaven community they raised an amazing £1,800 which will support local people affected by cancer.”
