A Man v Food event was held in the Anchor Hotel, Johnshaven on Saturday evening to help raise funds to purchase a prosthetic leg for cancer victim Stephen Kleszyk from Portlethen.
Eight lads, Gary Strachan, Greig Martin, Shaun Blease, Gary Kleszyk, Scott Beedie, Ryan Barbour, Ivar McBay and Nicky Coull were sponsored to eat a massive meal of giant burgers, chips and much more.
The eating challenge was the idea of Anchor owner Gary Thomson, who organised it together with Ross Blease and Eva McBay.
There was also a raffle with some super prizes including a golf day at Gleneagles and a football signed by the Manchester United team.
His many friends in Portlethen, Stonehaven, Johnshaven and elsewhere have been rallying in support of Stephen, who had the lower part of his right leg amputated in August.
Fundraising events have included a sponsored walk, a black tie event at Portlethen Golf Club and a seven-a-side football tournament at Johnshaven.
A sponsored bungee jump in Perthshire was also scheduled for Saturday.
