Portlethen Rotarians Invite Locals To Event

PORTLETHEN and District Rotary Club are on the lookout for new members.

The club is a very active and successful group of local people within the community, and it’s a great way of belonging to and giving a little bit of yourself back to your community without stress or strain and also a gateway to a whole new world of friendships. Current Rotary President of the Club Iain McLeod says, “membership of Rotary is open to everyone irrespective of age, gender, race, creed or religion and although it is recognised that we are sometimes viewed as being, ‘grey haired men in blazers’ this is far from the truth. At the same time we are now looking for a new generation of locally involved men and women to carry on the success we have had since starting the Club in 1994”.

The Club members hope that interested folks living between Cove and Stonehaven can come along on Tuesday October 25 to the Newton Arms in Newtonhill between 6.30pm and 7.30pm to join them as a guest when wine and a finger buffet will be provided. Anyone who has an interest in Rotary and want to know more will also be made very welcome. For further information call Robbie Middleton on 01569 730852
