A restaurant in Stonehaven has raised hundreds of pounds for a local charity by selling key rings to their customers.
Tandoori Haven, on Stonehaven’s Allardice Street, donated £307.50 to the Kincardine & Deeside Befriending (KDB) group through the sale of their branded key ring.
The cheque was presented to KDB managing committee member Rodney Payne by the restaurant’s owner Suhel Ahmed and Muhammad Afzal.
Also involved in the selling of the key rings, which started just three weeks ago, was the restaurant’s Hussain Ahmed.
Mr Afzal said: “Through the generosity of our customers we were able to donate this money to a charity that does a lot of good work.”
They are currently out of stock, but orders can still be made for future donations.
