Staff who work in the retail community have been invited to attend an event focusing on crime which could impact on them and their businesses.
The Acquisitive Retail Crime seminar for retail companies in the Kincardine and Mearns area will be held at 6.30pm on Thursday, November 12 at Mackie Academy.
Sergeant Sandra Crighton said Police Scotland was keen to work with retailers
She said: “Retail crime in the Kincardine and Mearns area is relatively low, however in the build up to the festive season, Police Scotland is keen to work with local businesses to build staff confidence and prevent their businesses being targeted by travelling retail criminals.”
Anyone wishing to attend the seminar should contact 101 and ask for PC Islay Anderson, Stonehaven.
