John Ruddy has been selected to stand as Scottish Labour’s candidate for Angus North and Mearns in the Scottish Parliament elections to be held in May.
He said “I am proud and humbled to have been selected for my home constituency of Angus North and Mearns. Even today, we see injustice and inequality all around us. It’s what has driven me to stand as a candidate for Scottish Labour, in order to fight it. The SNP have failed to deliver on their promises despite being in Government for over 8 years, and I will be highlighting where we can and will do better. Our campaign will be a positive vision articulating our Labour values.”
Mr. Ruddy lives in Montrose with his wife and young son and works for NHS Tayside as an Energy Officer.
