Routine and hopefully brief business will cover election of committee members, and reports from the secretary, treasurer and chair person. Tea, coffee and biscuits will then be served followed by “Up the Garden Path” - a photo journey through public and private gardens from Cornwall to Aberdeenshire. If you have any favourite garden pictures that you’d like to share, please contact Tom Campbell.
This meeting is open to all members and supporters. Please note that partners, newcomers and anyone interested in finding-out more about what we do will be made most welcome. Remember that membership is free and open to all with an interest in gardening or who share our vision for a Brighter Bervie. It is hoped that the timing of the meeting will suit parents of school-age children.
Looking forward to meeting and greeting as many of you as possible on 1st Dec.

1st Inverbervie Cubs
1st Inverbervie Cubs have been finding out about India over the last few weeks. We have learnt about Hinduism and the Diwali celebrations, about Cub Scouts in India and played some games played by Indian children. Cub Scouts in India make a promise very similar to our own, but the Cub Scout Law is different - in India, a Cub is obedient and a Cub is clean and polite.
The highlight was getting to taste some Indian food, generously supplied, free of charge, by The Nu Spice takeaway in Stonehaven. We sampled and enjoyed a huge platter of food including bhajis, pakoras, vegetable birijani rice and some Indian sweets. Our thanks go to Raj at The New Spice for the food and making it a memorable pack evening.
