Royal Burgh of Inverbervie Gala
A good turn out to this popular event, with 22 teams taking part.
The under 8s Winners were Gourdon Nipper and Runners up were the Blasters,
Under 12s Winners were Brechin City A and Runners up were Brechin City B
Thanks to everyone who supported the pub quiz on Monday night all who took part had a testing time with impressive results from the team. Congratulations to this years winners SSS
Thanks to Sandie Gillbanks and Mandy Knight for their help and to Mhairi Innes for all her help with the questions, David for being question master, Diane and David Wills from the Crown Hotel for the bar and buffet and to Lodge St David for use of the hall. Hope to see everyone again next year

Gala Royal Party

“Woman of the Way”
Thursday June 25, 7.45pm - 9.45pm. Women of the Way is a group open to ladies of the parish. It meets fortnightly to learn more about God and discuss how members can apply their faith in their daily lives and to support one another. As well as studying the Bible, and a time of prayer, the group always have lots of fun at meetings. They have recently welcomed a number of new members, and are always delighted to have new people along. WOW meet in Arbuthnott at the home of one of the.

Sing-a-long at Castle
Friday June 26, Starting at 2.30pm at Castle Lodge, Kirkburn,
Please join this small group who visit the Residents of Castle Lodge every 4 weeks. We bring back many Happy Memories by singing well known secular and sacred songs.
Afterwards we have a nice cuppa and some time to have a chat with the residents which is appreciated and of benefit to all concerned.
Tuesday June 23 saw Brighter Bervie pull off a fantastic event, Debbie Ryan, resident Artist had her Crown mosaic piece inaugurated at The Bervie Beach Amenities area.
The ceremony saw speeches from Lord Leiutenant Carol kInghorn, Rev |Dennis Rose, Brighter Bervie Chairperson Tom Campbell and Cllr George Carr. A wonderful Scottish Dance display with Sandra Gilbraith and the children from Bervie Primary School and good support from Aberdeenshire Council.

Bervie Youth Project
With the finer weather coming we are not running sports or youth café as the kids are out playing. Donated refreshments will be distributed at the Pitch at Church Street. Saturdays 7pm-8pm by Youth Project Volunteers, a chance for the members to book in for any trips or activity days that are booked though out the summer months. We are using this time to recruit more volunteers so if you are keen in helping out on a 3 weekly rota for a few hours please email email@example.com
