We would love to hear from anyone who has experience of marketing and would like to become a Town Hall Trust Board Member, this would involve coming to our monthly board meetings and giving advice on marketing.
We are also looking for people to help with our new film screenings with things like cinema usher, selling refreshments, setting up the seats and tidying up afterwards.
If you are interested in any of these types of activity please contact us at
We are now looking to get a list together for techs to operate the installed sound system. In addition we will expect to be able to offer some training to others who may have some of the skills required but would like to get up to speed and be able to operate as a full tech. In the first instance we wish to ask that anyone who would like to be on our list of techs, and has had some experience, please come along to The Town Hall on October 2 at 7.30pm to discuss how we get you onto our list and how we’re going to offer training to others. If you would like to come along but cannot make the date, then please let us know you are interested by emailing
We will be shortly drawing up the specification for the replacement lighting system. In the first part we wish to discuss with all interested parties, i.e. Lighting designers, techs and operators with an aim to get a ‘requirements list’ together. This will allow us to finalise a specification that can be offered to vendors to obtain prices etc. Thus we ask all interested parties to come along to The Town Hall on Tuesday November 6 at 7.30pm to put forward their views. If you cannot make this date, then please let us know you are interested by emailing
