Two charged following Stonehaven serious assault

Police Scotland can confirm that two 20-year-old men have been charged in relation to a serious assault that took place in the Market Square area of Stonehaven on Saturday 30 January.

Police in Stonehaven were appealing for witnesses following the assault earlier this week.

The incident happened outside a fast food establishment at around 3am on Saturday 30 January 2016. As a result of the incident, three men were assaulted. Two, aged 30 and 32, were left with serious injuries.
