Bervie’s Men’s Shed are working away behind the scenes getting their Charity Status and paperwork completed and lodges with the appropriate bodies, A Treasurer is needed for the group to move forward. It is not a position that required financial qualifications just the ability to balance a cheque book.

Now collecting for “The Back to School Bank”, The Bervie Food Bank is working together with the South Aberdeenshire Food Bank and The Trussel Trust which has Yellow Food Donation Collection bin’s throughout Bervie including The Burgh Hall, Farquhar Street as seen with our Inverbervie Pre-School staff Clare and Alison who are happy to accept Food Donations and New School Supplies.

Scottish Counrty Dancing at The Burgh Hall has restarted for the winter months, Come along for a fun, dance session on Tuesdays 7.45pm til 9.15pm for an energetic workout amongst friendly dancers.

Girl Guiding needs you!
The Inverbervie Brownie unit will be sadly losing a leader after the summer and we need volunteers to come forward to help the unit on a Monday night.
Volunteers don’t have to become leaders to help out and you don’t have to come each week to meetings but may want to help out once or twice a month.
You may have a skill that may help us out, perhaps you are good at admin or keeping finances?

South Mearns Explorers are looking for new recruits, If you are aged between 14 and 18 then they want you!
As part of the Scout Association the largest Youth Organisation in the World we have access to a full range of activities most of which you can take part in with your friends and other members.
Want to take part in specific activity then you will have the chance to bring it up at a meeting and perhaps add it to the programme of activities that members of the unit decide to do.
Activities that members have completed include Camping, Fores, Cooking, BBQ’s, Games, Team Activities, Trips within the UK and Abroad, Model Making, Art, Music, 10 pin bowling, Film nights, Construction Kits, Go Karts, Pioneering, Air Riffle Shooting and International Camps and over 30 different other activities, some can lead to helping you with Duke of Edinburgh Awards which can lso be taken if wanted to.
If you are interested, we meet in the Inverbervie Scout Hall on Church Street on a Wednesday evening from 7.40pm to 9.40pm.

Bervie Social Club has an average weekly attendance of 100 members meet every Saturday for some Bingo Fun, at The Burgh Hall, Farquhar Street.
Next meeting is Saturday September 19, Membership forms are available from Head Caller Alan Reid and his dedicated team of helpers.
Eyes down at 7.30pm Raffle and Refreshments are available.
‘Meet the Committee’Bervie is run off the backs of Committees, so we would like to introduce you to our Committees and their Members.
Hopefully we will find a full range of members from our Community Council to our Pre-School Committee who are keen to chat to us and tell us about their experiences.
