Bervie Lunch Club meet once a fortnight in the Masonic Hall, King Street, Inverbervie. From 12noon- 1.30pm, They enjoy a two-course lunch, usually Soup and Pudding, costing £4. Next meeting on Tuesday, March 17.

Inverbervie & District Day Care. The Day care Centre has been running now for 27 years, Their aims are to provide social support for some of the communities elder members from Gourdon, Bervie, Arbuthnott and Kinneff. The centre operates every Thursday and can accommodate 12 members, who are usually referred through the Social Work Department.
Members enjoy a bus trip to and from the centre, a morning hot drink, board and card games and a varied programme of entertainment and talks after lunch, also enjoying regular day trips.
The group have been notified of funding issues, relating to their 2015 programme, and are now seeking local support to see them through to the next financial year.
Inverbervie & District Day Care are a Scottish Registered Charity and are supported by Aberdeenshire Council with an enthusiastic support worker, The committee are feeling hopeful that their funding issues can be resolved for the benefit of the day care members.
Sheila Taylor, secretary for the group, an avid volunteer who has been with them for 6 years, said: “I visited with a neighbour, I always knew it was there, so I came to help and joined the committee within weeks.”
Chairperson, Wilma Scott, said: “I visited the day care with a neighbour and was asked to help, so I stayed and now I’m chairperson.”
The group raise funds throughout the year, so the members can enjoy day trips around our scenic community.
The active committee are hoping the local community can help support their programme for 2015, with Donations and Sponsorship. Any donation, however big or small, will be a huge help. Castle Lodge – Kennedy Care Home
I would like to say a BIG Hello to the Bervie Community, my name is Sandie Wilson and I am now the Manager of Castle Lodge Nursing Home which caters for older members of the Bervie Community. Our Aim at Castle Lodge is to keep our residents in touch with the community and I invite local community members to come and chat with them over a coffee and game of cards, scrabble or join us for a gentle stroll around the community with our care team. We also have residents with pets and would gladly welcome some voluntary dog walkers to visit.
