Johnner picked up their first away victory of the season as they produced their best display in weeks.

With many boys still missing, they travelled with just 12 players - eight of whom were 21 and under.

After a couple of disappointing results, the away team set out with the view to remain defensively sound and kept their shape very well in the first half but missed a couple chances through Cruickshank and Beedie, and they went in at half time 0-0.

They was much more emphasis on attacking in the second half as Forbes and Beedie threatened the high lined West End defence.

Johnshaven made their only substitution on the 70th minute when Couineaux-Rice replaced Simpson.

The home team scored with pretty much their only shot on goal all game after 75 minutes, but this seemed to spur the away team on, and a couple of great finishes with each foot from Darren Forbes within a couple minutes of each other was enough to secure all three points.
