Stonehaven Youth Football Club (SYFC) have two Parent Positive Coaching Scotland (PCS) sessions lined up for the coming weeks.
Sessions will take place at Mackie Academy class G3 from 7-8pm. They are: Thursday January 22 and Tuesday January 27.
SYFC rolled out the initiative to all coaches last year and now want to introduce it to the parents as part of the Stonehaven Community Club Push.
The initiative has had a positive impact on players and involves are range of advice for parents with children playing football.
Richard Thomas, from SYFC, told us last month: “It is a cultural change programme that requires all stakeholders in the grass roots game to be aware of and buy into if it is to make a real difference.
“It is proven to have a positive impact on player’s development and enjoyment of the game. SYFC are fully behind the initiative but require the support of parents to make it work.”
