Members were treated to excellent weather conditions at the weekend and this was reflected in the scoring especially in the doubles competition. In the singles competition Jim Lonie continued his low scoring and topped the leaderboard with 42 points. Close behind was Keith Taylor with 41 points. Chris Taylor was next with 39 points. The doubles scratch section was headed by Neil Irvine and Harry Roulston with a fine 60 thanks mainly to the good form from Harry on the greens for a change. Close behind were Ron Gilmour and Bert Droy with a 62 and Willie Pittendreigh and Graeme Adamson with a 64. Ron and Bert topped the handicap doubles section with a best of the season nett 53. Alister Barnett and Tom Simpson had a nett 54 and Neil and Harry had a nett 55.
