Have you every wondered what goes on behind the walls and hedges of Newtonhill and District Bowling Club (near the Bettridge Centre)?
Well, here’s your chance to find out!
The bowling club is having an open day on Saturday, April 2, between 2pm and 4pm and would welcome anyone from Newtonhill, Muchalls, Chapelton and the surrounding district to come along for a (free) cup of tea and a biscuit to see what the club has to offer.
The club has said whether you have ever taken part in bowls before doesn’t matter as all they want to do is show people across Kincardine what the club has on offer.
The club is looking to see what they can do to maintain the club for the future.
It doesn’t matter if you are young or old the club are inviting you to their open day.
The club said: “Whether you have ever bowled before or not is irrelevant - all we want is a few moments of your time to show you what goes on at the bowling club and to gauge what is required to maintain the club’s viability for the foreseeable future.
“So come along - young, old, prospective members, or the just plain curious - and see for yourself just what facilities Newtonhill and District Bowling Club has to offer. We look forward to seeing you”
The club also holds a variety of social events throughout the year, have held previously a Bingo Night, Burns Supper, fun and games (annual Target Bowls and Bottle Stall) and a New Year’s Eve party.
