Mearns Camera Club’s ‘People At Work’ competition was judged at their weekly meeting in Stonehaven Community Centre.

Judge Al Buntin MPAGB ARPS DPAGB, a member of Dundee Camera Club, said he enjoyed looking at the work and hoped his comments would be of use and help members to learn and improve with their photographic efforts.

He emphasised throughout the importance of composition allied to content, technique and visual appeal. He thought the standard of the club’s entries was excellent though for a competition named ‘People At Work’ a lot of the people featured were actually static and had paused from their work.
