It’s curtain up on a spoof Sherlock Holmes mystery promising both drama and laughs at Edzell’s Inglis Hall on Friday and Saturday, March 10 and 11, at 7.30pm presented by the village Drama Group,
It’s part of a double bill with first up a short sketch “Gerri and the Atrics” taking an affectionate look at old time music hall. Second half of the night sees Sherlock called in to solve a stolen diamond heist. As ever he outwits Scotland Yard’s Lestrade but for some reason Dr Watson is jaw-droppingly frog-marched off stage - with some guffawingly elementary jokes along the way.
Tickets from Edzell Post Office, Spar, Tweedie and on the door. Drama Group chairman Anne Newsome recommends getting tickets in advance as the Group’s last show in November sold out both nights.
