MEARNS Hardware have presented £114 to the Laurencekirk Scout Group's new Scout Hall fund.

The money was raised by a guess the number of rawl plugs in a bottle competition held in the store pre-Christmas.

The winner, Judith Gronneberg won a voucher to spend in the shop.

Her guess of 264 was just two away from the correct answer of 266.

Andy Ogilvie is pictured handing the cash to the Scout Group's Avril Nicol.
