Laurencekirk High Street was full of Christmas cheer on December 4, when the local shops and businesses opened their doors until late.

The festive spirit was all around the town as Santa paid a visit, with members of the Laurencekirk Amateur Musical Society singing Christmas carols.

There were plenty of local business’ open late including Bespoke, Swatchmaker, Rainbow Hat, Hugo’s, Mearns Hardware, WDB - Flowers - Events, The Fringe and more.

Laurencekirk Scout Group opened their hut from 5pm, with a table sale, teas and coffees and, for the more adventurous, a chance to try out their new climbing wall!

Hugo’s were celebrating their first birthday, with fizz for adults and birthday cake on the night.

Laurencekirk Business Club were ‘mine hosts’ in the Masonic Hall, with stallholders offering great Christmas gifts including art, jewellery, and books.
